What happens the first time you sign in.
Setup is one question: what you’d like to be called. Answer it and you’re in.
Choose a display name
Your display name is how you’ll appear to other people by default. It can be anything you want, and you can change it later.
- Enter a name.
- Select Continue.
What that name does
The name you enter does two jobs at once.
It’s saved to My Details as a name you can use anywhere. It also becomes the display name on your first Profile, which we create for you and label Personal.
So you finish setup with one detail and one profile already in place. Both are yours to rename, edit, or delete.
Add more details
Setup ends on My Details. Anything you add here stays private to you: a phone number, a website, a birthday. Add what you feel like adding, and come back for the rest whenever you want.
