How to permanently remove your Cirqil account, whether or not you still have the app.
Deleting your account is permanent. Your details, your profiles, and the account itself are removed, and we can’t bring them back. If you only want to step away for a while, sign out instead — signing out leaves everything where it is.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your My Details vault
- Your Profiles
- Your contact connections
- Your presence in any Space you belonged to
From the app
- Open Settings from the Account menu.
- Scroll to Delete your account.
- Select Delete Account.
- Type the confirmation phrase shown on the screen.
- Select Delete Account.
That’s it — your account is gone.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app installed and want your account deleted, email us from the address on the account:
Email: support@cirqil.com
Subject: Account deletion request
In the body:
- Confirm the email address is the one on the account.
- Say: “Please delete my Cirqil account and my associated data.”
We’ll confirm receipt and delete the account within a reasonable timeframe.
Sending the request from the account’s own email address is how we confirm it’s really you — a request from a different address will get a reply asking you to send it from the registered one.
If you used Sign in with Apple
If you signed in with Apple, Apple keeps its own record of the connection to Cirqil — separate from the account we just deleted. To fully remove that connection, revoke it from your Apple ID settings:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Cirqil → Stop Using Apple ID.
- Mac: System Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple → Cirqil → Stop Using Apple ID.

What happens after
Once we delete an account, we permanently remove the personal information above.
Some limited information may be kept for a short period to meet legal, security, or accounting requirements — our Privacy Policy covers what and why.
You won’t be able to sign back into a deleted account. If you want to use Cirqil again later, create a new one.
